EDW Migration Delivery Specialization

The Delivery Specialization: EDW Migration badge is granted to Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associates within the partner community after completing the Delivery Specialization: EDW Migration Partner Academy course, including its Knowledge Check and Lab Assessment.

Bearers of this badge have demonstrated the ability to modernize data infrastructure by successfully migrating Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDWs) to Databricks. This includes:

- Guiding customers through a phased migration approach (discovery, assessment, and execution)

- Utilizing Delta Lake for enhanced data reliability and scalability

- Redesigning data architecture and transforming ETL/ELT processes

- Optimizing performance while ensuring governance and security compliance

- Helping clients eliminate data silos, reduce costs, and accelerate data and AI initiatives through the Lakehouse architecture
