Earners of the Databricks Developer Advanced accreditation have demonstrated ability to navigate and use the Apache Spark UI to debug and optimize complex Spark jobs. They have an in-depth understanding of how Spark and Databricks optimizations work and are able to utilize that knowledge to create and optimize workloads for cost and performance. EARNING CRITERIA Successful completion of a skills validation interview with a Databricks field SME.

Achieving the Databricks Developer Essentials accreditation has demonstrated the ability to ingest, transform, and land data from both batch and streaming data sources in Delta Lake tables to create a Delta Architecture data pipeline. EARNING CRITERIA Successful completion of the Core Technical Capstone.

Achieving the Azure Databricks Business Essentials accreditation has demonstrated an understanding of the Azure Databricks capabilities and the ability to create Modern Data Architecture with Delta Lake and Azure Databricks. EARNING CRITERIA For Microsoft employees and Databricks partners only. Successful completion of the 90 min online sales training.

Earners of the Databricks Business Essentials accreditation will have demonstrated an understanding of the features and functionality of Databricks and will be able to articulate partner value proposition along with the “better together” selling motion and expectations. EARNINGS CRITERIA Successful completion of the Stage 1 Business Essentials course and answer questions with an average score of 75% or higher.

The Databricks Certified Cloud Partner Core certification is part of the Cloud technical enablement program that aims to develop cloud solution architects and customer engineers to become Databricks experts and champions. Participants demonstrate an understanding of the features and functionality of Databricks and will be able to articulate partner value proposition along with the “better together” selling motion and expectations. Topics covered in this certification include: Platform Architecture, Security, Databricks Deployment, Delta Lake, MLflow, Databricks SQL, Lakehouse Architecture, Data Ecosystem Positioning, Current Databricks roadmap EARNINGS CRITERIA Successful completion of the Cloud Partner Core course and quiz.
